Tower Project
Cardboard tubes, pvc pipe connections, steel cable, fiberglass reinforcement.
We brought a 12' cardboard carpet tube to studio as a material sample for a collapsible tensegrity icosahedron, but we changed our project to a tower in trying to maximize the potential of the light, strong tubes. We raised the 50’ tower several times, once for the school’s annual Open House.
